Nintendo of America has confirmed on its Twitter account that the role-playing Nintendo 3DS game Fire Emblem: Awakening will be released in North America and Europe. However, Nintendo of America did not specify a release date for the game.
The game was developed by Intelligent Systems, and it was the latest title in the Fire Emblem series to incorporate two-player co-op gameplay. Fire Emblem: Awakening was released in Japan on April 19 and went on to sell more than 300,000 copies in its first two weeks prior to launch.
