It has been announced in the July issue of Kadokawa Shoten’s Monthly Newtype magazine that the first two Puella Magi Madoka Magica films will premiere in theatres nationwide on October 6 and October 13 in Japan.

The first film premiering in theatre on October 6 titled Gekikjo-ban Maho Shojo Madoka Magica Zenpen: Harjimari no Monogatari, Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie Part I: The Beginning Story, and on October 13 titled Gekikjo-ban Maho Shojo Madoka Magica Kōhen: Eien no Monogatari, Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie Part II: The Eternal Story. Advance tickets will go on sale July 7.
