Pokemon Black & White 2 Coming June 2012

Junichi Masuda from Game Freak’s showed up on Pokemon Smash to announce a new game – Pokemon Black and White 2, instead of the rumoured Pokemon Grey. This numbered entry appears to be a sequel to the story, rather than an update as you usually get with the 3rd game for each generation. The names for the legendary pokemon for this game will be announced next week.

The two games are not on the Nintendo 3DS, surprisingly, but on the Nintendo DS, coming out June 2012 in Japan. Nintendo have confirmed that a North American release is also coming soon.

UPDATE: Junichi Masuda via his Twitter account has revealed  the names of the forms. They are just called Black Kyurem & White Kyurem. Strangely, he treats the forms as separate Pokémon.
