Square Enix has released a Final Fantasy XIII-2 new television commercial featuring the voice of Mai Fukui. The game is slated for release in Japan on December 15, America on January 31, and on Europe on February 3 for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 system consoles. It is said that the PlayStation 3 package will bundle with a limited-edition Final Fantasy XIII-2 Lightning Edition Ver.2 bundle.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is an upcoming console role-playing video game developed and published by Square Enix for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 consoles. It will serve as a direct sequel to the 2009 role playing game Final Fantasy XIII.

The story will follow the events of Final Fantasy XIII, three years after, Lightning, the protagonist of the original game, has disappeared into an unknown world. Her younger sister Serah Farron, a returning character from the original title, and a boy named Noel Kreiss attempt to find Lightning.
