
The official website for the manga/light novel series, Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai, has begun streaming its promotional video trailer for the upcoming anime adaption. The promotional video was first shown at the Comic Market 80 event located in Tokyo, and was released online on YouTube minutes after. The anime adaption is set to premiere in Japan this October.
Boku wa Tomodachi ga Sukunai 「僕は友達が少ない I Don’t Have Many Friends」 is a Japanese light novel series written by Yomi Hirasaka, illustrated by Buriki, and published by Media Factory. The light novel storyline is focused around a young boy named Kodaka Hasegawa who has had tough luck making friends due to his delinquent appearance. Kodaka then meets a female classmate who is quite famous in school for being very beautiful and smart, yet unsociable. She then proposes to Kodaka to start an after-school club made for the sole purpose of making new friends.
