MAKEN-KI! was announced for an adaption back in June, prior to that information, it has been confirmed, from the image above, that the TV anime series is set to air this coming Fall season. MAKEN-KI! is a Japanese manga series created by Hiromitsu Takeda. Fans who are interested into Ero Mangaka (Adult comic), should be happy to know that Hiromitsu Takeda is known for his famous ero mangaka creations. However, MAKEN-KI!, will be an anime for all ages, but be sure to expect quite a margin of fan-service action.
The plot revolves around a boy named Takeru Ohyama, who is a young normal yet perverted minded guy. He got accepted into a school that was unknown to him. The school is a place where combat and magic is used. On the first day, he meets again after three years: Haruko Amaya, his childhood friend, Inaho Kushiya, a girl who says she’s his fiance, and Kodama Himegami, a blonde who wants to kill him. Finding out that there are many girls there that just don’t like him, he is told that everyone there uses a special magic ability while using an item or weapon called a Maken. Later, he finds that no Maken is acceptable for him and doesn’t know what to do, since in this school the students get into duels that showcase their magic and combat power, to which he seemingly has none.

No lack of boobs and panty shots there. Let’s see how severe the censorship of the aired version is as it was pretty reasonable in the trailer. Much more reasonable than the way shows airing now are censored. Oh and I guess we could watch it as well to see if it has an entertaining plot.
Most fan-service shows nowadays don’t really bring forward that “entertaining plot” unless you’re specifically talking about HSOD, which is way out of line here.
However, that’s my just opinion on whether fan-service anime really have the “plot” going. I mean, if you’re in it for the flashing pantsu and titty bouncing, then I have nothing against anyone that prefers that type of genre. Fan-service is the money making machine, and it’s still a “genre” that many consider “too much”. The end result, you know you still like all that skin.
