Mado-Magi o Katari Taosu Discussion Book

Takarajimasha, a Japanese publisher, has decided to publish a discussion book for the television anime, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, titled Mado-Magi o Katari Taosu, on September 30. The book is said to be a compilation of huge fans of the series, including director and scriptwriter, Mamoru Oshii, known for the Ghost in the Shell, Patlabor and The Sky Crawlers series.

Manga creator, Kazuo Koike (Lone Wolf and Cub, Crying Freeman), also gave his two cents on the Madoka Magica series. Kazuo posted his comment and reaction on his Twitter account saying that there were some parts of the series he did not understand, such as the relationship between the character Homura Akemi and Kyubey. He also acknowledged that he disliked the beginning of the series. Koike also mentioned that the studio, director, and staff were all superior, so he had high expectations for the series that weren’t betrayed. He went on to finish what he said, saying that the series won him over.
