Fans wishing for a dubbed version of the anime series, Puella Magi Madoka Magica, should gleam in joy, for Aniplex USA has announced at its Otakon panel on Friday that it will dub the anime series into English.
Aniplex USA, famous for their licensed anime series, Baccano!, Blue Exorcist, Durarara!!, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann: Guren-hen and a few more, has added on yet another great series into its list of dubbed anime in English. That’s simply your opinion. I personally believe that anime companies based in the US hire plenty of talented voice actors/actresses. Frankly speaking though, you sound like a cliche. Like every other fanboy/fangirl who pretends watching anime with original Japanese dialogue somehow makes them the ultimate fan.
I watch anime in the original dub, i’m not an ultimate anime fan. =/ aniplex aren’t too bad for dubbing as long as they keep the dialogue correct and it sounds okay i don’t mind.
Dubs are only good if you’re a fat and ignorant american who’s unable to appreciate cultural influences other than your own cheap and shitty “culture”. Learn to appreciate actual talented voice-acting which is done by voice actors/actresses whose gone through years of hard training, sweat and rejection in opposition to your sad, greasy, useless pigs.
Or, you’re an idiot and people like to hear dialogue in a language they actually speak. A lot of people, myself included, don’t particularly want to read things while watching things, and don’t speak Japanese. I will agree that some dubs are certainly bad and mangled, however, there are also plenty of good dubs out there.
That’s hilarious. I love how the elitist looks down on Americans because of their “culture”. This is extremely ironic, considering that most of american culture is integrated with the world as is. The movies you watch? Probably made in Hollywood. The video games you play? Most likely made in America. The many methods you use to travel, such as a car or plane? Invented in fucking America, dipshit. Get off your high horse, asshole, or go without any American inventions and products for a couple of days. And fucking learn some grammar, while exercising your basement dwelling ass.
Why do you all have to fight? Enjoy the anime and ignore one another.
i don’t see a problem at all with dubbing. The japanese do it for american cartoons and so does alot of the world. So get the hell over the fact that they are dubbing it and just go into forms and -Beep- about it there. Because those are the only people that do.
on a happier side note: i loved this anime in the original voices. but i cant wait to see it dubbed 8] and i cant wait for the manga comeing out by yen press next year! 2012 is gonna be a good year 8D
Personally, I don’t mind the english dub, I could take it or leave it. I’m not all that crazy about Madoka, Sayaka and Kyouko’s voices, kinda sounds like they’re trying to hard, but Homura and Mami on the other hand, I’m pleased with.
I don’t really think it’ll be a horribly bad dub, I’m pretty sure we’ve had worse. I say at least give it a bit of a chance, it’s not like someone’s forcing you to watch it.
